A message from the founder on why Zagfro is being built this way.
SAMA Brandon Nyongbella’s message is ultimately about fit: technology should reflect the environments it serves, and African markets deserve companies that take that obligation seriously.
SAMA Brandon Nyongbella founded Zagfro in 2023 with a focus on applied technology capacity rooted in African operating realities.
When we talk about technology in African markets, we often talk as if the only real options are to import a system, adapt a system, or go without one.
I believe there is a fourth option: build companies that understand the environment well enough to design for it from the beginning.
That is the spirit behind Zagfro. We are interested in applied AI, infrastructure, autonomous systems, and sector products because these are not separate conversations in the real world. They meet in the same places: on campuses, in workshops, on roads, in clinics, across logistics networks, and inside institutions trying to do more with limited support.
For me, the opportunity is not just to launch products. It is to build capability that lasts, to prove that serious systems can be designed and operated from here, and to create a company that earns trust through execution.
The environments we care about are demanding. Power is not always stable. Connectivity is not always easy. Supply chains are not always forgiving. But constraints can be a source of discipline. They force clarity. They make you decide what really matters.
Zagfro is still being built, but the direction is intentional. We want to create technology that performs where conditions are uneven, where support has to be local, and where people are tired of systems that sound impressive but fail under pressure.
If you are a partner, investor, teammate, or institution exploring this journey with us, I hope the question you ask is not simply how large the vision is. I hope you ask whether the company is building the habits, infrastructure, and judgment required to deserve that scale.
That is the standard we want to hold ourselves to.

If this operating thesis resonates, the next step is a direct conversation.
Zagfro is looking for thoughtful partners, ambitious builders, and long-term backers who care about execution as much as vision.
